The Bantry bay area is sheltered by a backdrop of mountains and the stunning scenery sums up the essence of the Wild Atlantic Way. A short drive inland brings you to Gougane Barra, one of the most picturesque locations in Ireland. A small chapel sits on an island in the lake surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and has featured on many a postcard. Finally, the small coastal village of Glengarriff, nestled amongst rugged mountains and ancient oak forest, is unique in its beauty. This gateway to the Beara peninsula will steal the heart of any photographer. The exact locations on the field trip will be dictated by conditions on the day.
